We had a fantastic first workday of the season at the Ohana Kuleana Community Garden.
Monea Monroe, a local permaculture design teacher supported us as we prepared and planted 3 more guilds in our food forest. Monea helped us plant the first guild in 2013!
Yeah Monea!
We were also joined by the Rotary Club of Durango. For the 2nd year in a row they have supported us with a donation and hard working volunteers.
Thanks Rotary!
We also started a new tradition, sharing a meal, potluck style, after each workday. What a great way to get to know our 'ohana!
