Volunteer Opportunities 2018

2018 Volunteer Opportunities!

School Garden Work Parties

School garden work parties will be held through October on weekday afternoons from 5-6pm to do some much-needed maintenance at school gardens around town. Dates and times will be scheduled as needed - usually a few per month. We'll bring a water jug, tools, and gloves, so all you need to do is show up with a water bottle!

JMG 2nd Grade Garden Class Educators

Throughout the 2018/19 school year, The Garden Project is looking for volunteers to help with Junior Master Gardener lessons in Durango 9-R elementary schools. We will teach a monthly lesson to every second grade class at seven schools around the county, running through the whole school year (except January).
